As a responsible and dedicated worker, I have found great pleasure and purpose in every job I've had. My work ethic has garnered positive accolades from all of my employers, and my enthusiasm is contagious. I've often been described as, "the glue" and take pride in being a focal point in both my professional and personal communities.
I work well under pressure, take feedback to heart, and excel at interpersonal communication. I am exceptionally organized, honest, and take the needs of others into account when making decisions. I have thrived in both the educational and small business worlds due to my patience, intelligence, effort, empathy, and mastery of organization and communication.
After completing my first year of teaching, (Sixth Grade English and Social Studies at Seaside Middle School) I was excited to work at a successful new brewery in downtown San Francisco after moving to the city in July 2015. Next, I thrived while running two-thirds of a family-owned LED performance prop production company in Emeryville, where I successfully managed both the Production and Event teams (2017-2018).
Since August of 2018 I have been a highly valued team member at a private, non-profit school for students with dyslexia. I have thoroughly loved getting to teach 5th grade in a team-teaching environment and feel that my collaboration skills have grown immensely as a result. I have received on-going positive feedback about my work, ability to lead, collaboration style, organization and communication skills, as well as my teaching methods from administrators, colleagues, families and students.
I have a diverse array of experience working within a variety of settings, as reflected on my resume. My extensive volunteer, professional, and academic experiences, (graduated with honors in May 2014) have deepened my empathy and allowed for greater appreciation of the needs of all the stakeholders with whom I work.

Dedicated Work Ethic
"If you're going to do something, do it well."
Graduating with honors, while working full time, volunteering 20 hours a week, helping my family, tutoring, and volunteering as a college Teaching Assistant was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. I put the same amount of work ethic into everything I do. |
Creativity"Creativity takes courage." ~Henry Matisse
Whether it's painting, baking, building art sculptures with wood, embroidery, cooking, writing, singing, dancing, making music, performing, or dressing up in costume...if it's creative, I love it! |
Collaboration"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." ~Andrew Carnegie
I dedicate a large portion of my free time to collaborating with others on art projects, event production, volunteering, creative endeavors (dance, flow, etc.), and opportunities for community engagement. I find that most activities are more fun with friends, and have made good use of the fact that "many hands make for light work" in order to accomplish grand projects and events. |
